Parasailing in Waikiki: Price, Time Aloft and What to Expect
Updated October 24, 2026 · 4 min read
Parasailing off Waikiki is a boat trip with a flight in the middle, and the hour you pay for is not an hour in the air. Four parasailing offers are listed around Waikiki and Diamond Head. They differ less in the flight than in price and in how much feedback stands behind the rating.
The four offers
| Offer | From | Rating |
|---|---|---|
| Waikiki Parasailing | €66.95 | 4.7 (1,583) |
| Waikiki Parasailing (second listing) | €71.41 | 4.7 (119) |
| Parasail on Maunalua Bay with Diamond Head views | €86.59 | 4.7 (9) |
| Hawaiian Parasail Over Waikiki since 1977 | €92.54 | 5.0 (4) |
The cheapest offer is also the one with by far the most reviews, so its 4.7 rests on 1,583 opinions. A 5.0 from four reviews tells you very little. Maunalua Bay lies east of Diamond Head, so that departure is not a Waikiki-beach trip; check where the boat leaves.
What the hour means
The first offer lasts one hour overall. Boarding, the boat moving out and the line-up all happen inside that hour, and the listing does not say how many minutes you are actually aloft. Ask the operator before you pay, and ask about age, weight and group limits, which the listing does not give either.
Who should skip it
Skip it if small boats or heights put you off. If you mainly want the view of Waikiki’s skyline and Diamond Head, a cruise gives it for a similar price; see the adventure tours or compare a sunset boat trip.
